Post Your Daily/Weekly Numbers

Those are interesting pts.Its funny as you're traveling to work 3 hr's in one area someone from that area you traveled to is driving 3 hrs to your area.I don't typically drive 3 hours...that was a two day stint just to try out an area I thought was Juicy..and it was

Its just like people who say you can't mail the same area with dm every 60 days or its redundant. Well 8 other vendors from Senior life to LH are mailing that same area every single week. The question is does your card catch someone at the right time. You Never run out of tele leads?Agreed, I think the people that say that are morons

Only 20% of the population is not on the dnc list. So if you call Huntsville this week and Lexington next week how do you 10 other final expense telemarketers haven't hammered that area right before you called it?I don't, I do know that there are not any agents that I'm scared of coming behing me. I pay per lead on those...so I don't care who they've talked to

As far as $28 or $25 leads the difference is newby has not worked out a deal with any mail house to provide the agent with any fixed cost leads in states like ga or texas.Thats why you had to find a vendor at $25. Mail drops at .4% returns just don't work financially. Who said it's not with a FEX vendor? You didn't get that from me..I've eluded to it, but how does anyone know? They don't. You also made a poor word choice...you said I HAD to find a vendor...that statement couldn't be more untrue. I don't HAVE to do a damn thing. I'm fine with getting 1.5% return on generic cards...I WANTED to give these "Life" leads a try...there is a big difference

See above in RED .

No we are agreeing. I'm saying an agent wanting to be home every night eventually has to be on DM. They can use Tele leads until they dry up then switch to another Tele lead company, but most companies use the same data sources. So then they wind up getting duplicate leads a lot. DM can keep an agent home if they so choose.
I travel so much I can't work DM. I just buy unsold aged DM leads when there are some in the area I'm going to. It's also how I pick my areas for blitz weeks. Going to Charleston, SC because there was over 500 aged DM there.

Bottom line is that every agent that can't sell will have some excuse and somebody else to blame.

As for travel, we have agents from St Louis, {4 hours away}, coming in here working DM leads.

I've never worked the St louis area but it looks like prime FE territory to me.

But so does Louisville, Ky. That's too far for me to go work but I know several agents in the Louisville area that work everywhere but Louisville.

May be just a "greass is greener" kinda thing?

I couldn't imagine having to travel every week, but you are younger then me and I understand that is more appealing the younger you are.

That's the up side to have a consistent DM lead campaign... Staying close to home and sleeping in your own bed every night...with the wife... Not sharing a hotel with some dude...LOL.

Did you and Matt share a room? That was funny about needing a hotel cup, but had to get it out of Matt's bag because it was packed up.

Dude he packs up everything in the room as soon as he gets there. I was scared to take a s@+!..... figured he had the toilet paper packed up already.
I enjoy working out of town a few days each week. When I'm home, I'm home! When I hit my goal, I head to the house. I'm usually home 4 full days and gone 3. Always worked out for me. I figure it'll change one day but for now it works perfect.

Oh I agree but why I'm different is I'm not going because I don't think my area is good. I simply go for 2 reasons. ...
1...I was trained that way years ago (AIC and Parker) and I'm just used to it.

2... when I do work close to home I find myself doing everything but work. (At the bank, cutting grass, taking kids to the park, ect) some people suck on the phone. So they have options. ... quit, hire apt setter, or door knock. I suck working from home so I can quit or travel, and I don't quit. Simple as that!

And the lotion.......................

This room didn't have lotion. Wait he got there before me, so it could have!

One thing most fe agts agree with is no way in h### i'm doing this job if I have to stay gone 3-4 days a week. No amount of money is worth that.
