One thing most fe agts agree with is no way in h### i'm doing this job if I have to stay gone 3-4 days a week. No amount of money is worth that.

Everyone has their own system. I have mine and love it. You have yours (or do you?) Knocking my system will not change me. I get by just fine doing what I do.

when I do work close to home I find myself doing everything but work. (At the bank, cutting grass, taking kids to the park, ect) some people suck on the phone. So they have options. ... quit, hire apt setter, or door knock. I suck working from home so I can quit or travel, and I don't quit.

I understand this, I have the same distractions when working in my county. I still work my county, but it is more challenging to stay focused.

However, the next county over and I am in Terminator mode with no distractions. In my home county my Terminator mode is harder to maintain.

I enjoy working out of town a few days each week. When I'm home, I'm home! When I hit my goal, I head to the house. I'm usually home 4 full days and gone 3. Always worked out for me. I figure it'll change one day but for now it works perfect.

If it isn't broken, why change it.

I would also add, that MOST FE agents are broke and looking for ways to make money...hmmmmm

If I'm working really close to home, I have to make sure I have enough appointments that I can't slack off...I know where every movie theater, golf course and bar is with 100 miles of my house...gotta stay busy.

Trust me I understand! I've just done it this way so long that my first day every week in an area is working through my CRM and going to see clients to add on ect. The other days are apts. I don't have many clients at all in Mississippi because that wasn't an option when I started.

Get to the office at 9am on Monday, fax apps, get new brochures and apps, then write a check for 50 robo leads and get them. "Nice Savanah, GA!" See you all next Monday and off I went.
