I just placed an order with main street power mail. I'm working old leads that I ordered last year. Doing a 2000 piece mailing which is 800$. I'm mailing a county that typically gives me a 2.5% return crossing my fingers.

$400 per thousand? I can send you some sample lead cards. If you like them I can get you $350-370 per thousand. ROR is about 1-1.2%.

If he is getting a 2% return for $400 your mailer would cost him more at $370 for a 1.2% return. The cost per lead would go up.

The OP actually said he is getting 2.5% return from mailing X county. The norm is more like the 1-1.6% ROR.

Based on what the OP has stated in this thread [back working at FE for 2 weeks] I would question that he has any longivety of experience to quantify the 2.5% return claim. More like an anomoly.

Wow, very very hard to find those returns anymore. How long ago did you mail those counties?

I mailed this county 3 times last year. Sportsnut I have over twenty years of insurance sales background most of it door to door or dm leads. I'm not new to this just new to the big uptick in activity. I will post some of my door approaches soon. I don't know if they will work for everyone but they do for me. This forum is a great find for me fantastic sales skills here.

I agree about the forum, everyone "usually" goes over their experiences in the field and discuss important changes in the industry, including rates, product information and other important things that matter when you are selling.

I think we would all be interested in your door approach that you use while cold door knocking. A door approach with a lead is easier. Look forward to your response.

I would love to hear the door knocking script as well. These are definitely some fantastic results. It goes to show this industry truly is about activity and mindset.
