First let me introduce myself. I am a new agent in Florida, just got my license in September. I've been on here reading and learning a lot thanks to all the great contributors here.
I have a customer who is a General Contractor. He recently sold his business due to disagreements with his business partner and is starting a new company doing basically the same type of work he has done for the past 15 years. He wants a GL policy that has premiums based on Gross Sales not his Payroll schedule as this is what he had on his old company.
Every insurance carrier I've asked has said "no". They will only use payroll not gross sales.
So, before I present him with an offer he doesn't like I want to know if anyone knows of a company that will write a GL policy based on gross sales.
