Question for Agency Owners.

How I built an 37 million insurance agency in 7 years by Darren S.

This book is geared towards health insurance but 30% the book was about hiring quality producers and how to keep the aboard. Pretty decent quick read in general

We have a no solicit clause in our contract... not a non compete being those are boarder line illegal in CA and that is were we are domiciled.

We do not provide leads as we are 90% commercial. Our producers are carefully chosen. But yes we have trained some of our toughest competators... but in the end most of them stay because our office litterally functions like a co-op.. Our producers literally feel like they own their own business but the cut we take for expenses are less than they would probably pay running their own.

non compete/non solicit clause in a contract, if written correctly, means they cant even communicate with MY clients, doesnt matter who write them, its MY Book of Business.
