Questions on Virtual Financial Group

The idea of a "virtual" company is ridiculous. It's just a (not so) clever way to recruit into WFG. I have no issue with WFG per se, only the fact that this seems to be a pseudo-company designed to recruit into WFG without saying they are WFG.

I don't get it. WFG is a legitimate company owned by Transamerica. I don't see the need to try to lure people in with this virtual thing.

I'm still shaking my head on that one. I see they are associated with and/or have an alliance with WFG.......but for the life of me, I can't see how VFG is the "same company" as WFG (as you allege).

Please enlighten.

*Virtual Financial Group is a financial services marketing company that has a strategic alliance with World Financial Group, Inc. a Transamerica company.  World Financial Group, Inc. (WFG) is a financial services marketing company whose affiliates offer a broad array of financial products and services. Insurance products offered through World Financial Group Insurance Agency, Inc.(WFGIA), World Financial Group Insurance Agency of Hawaii, Inc., World Financial Group Insurance Agency of Massachusetts, Inc., World Financial Group Insurance Agency of Wyoming, Inc., World Financial Insurance Agency, Inc. and/or WFG Insurance Agency of Puerto Rico, Inc. WFG and WFGIA are affiliated companies. Virtual Financial Group Headquarters: 826 Orange Ave Coronado CA 92118 Phone 619-663-6607. VirtualFinancialGroup.com WFG and WFGIA Headquarters: 11315 Johns Creek Parkway, Johns Creek, GA 30097-1517. Phone: 770.453.9300. WorldFinancialGroup.com.

So it is someone who is "naming" their organization within WFG. Bottom line, all systems and paychecks are through WFG.

Been with Vfg since July. Was impressed and continue to be so. On the negative notions, lag time getting policies issued. Better in the last 30 days. Back office marketing system is incredible. 2015 should be better than ever.

I have just left Transamerica/World Financial Group after being with them for three and a half years. Your goal in this company is to grow your business through recruitment. The people you recruit and their families are the people you sell insurance products to. So your primary product is recruiting with insurance being the secondary product.

I personally found that I was attending more and more meetings learning about recruiting rather than product. If you enjoy recruiting this could be a good company for you. I have noticed that every few years they do seem to come up with a new name under which to brand themselves I presume to reinvent the company in a new light. Being virtual the new company might just be what the company needs to freshen up.

While this company was not a good fit for me, it does not mean it will not be good for others. Glad you are happy - Best of Luck

I think I have found the piece to the puzzle. With all the recruiting TFA & WFG do they have many different groups forming. When you reach a certain hierarchy/level you are able to brand your group, but still keeping to the basic structure of TFA/WFG. Hence you will still be paid via WFG be part of their annual conventions (consisting of no less than 25,000 people) but your webpage, business cards, logo and everything else will be under a different name. I believe this was done to allow the people at the top to have more control over their personal groups as well as separating themselves from negative publicity created several years ago.

This is why you see so many threads from VFG tying back to TFA/WFG.

I recently saw an article re: Virtual Financial Group and looks like their #1 Recruiter in the company has jumped ship and is saddled with chargebacks and 0 commission payments.
Virtual Financial Group Review

Anyone of you VFG people want to comment on this?...Have you made a red cent yet?

If you have posted here on how good life is at VFG, let's here about all the money you've made?

I believe all would be interested in hearing about it.
