Quotit Joins the Forum

Melmunch, I left you a private message with my number, let's talk. So many things hinge on that one poor tech support guy. I think he needs a raise. Let's all pitch in so we can all finally get some things done. Geeesh. - M from Q

You can joke about it... but it is an industry fact that your tech support is piss-poor. Everyone knows it and you come on here and simply rub our noses in it... indeed you are saying "Boy you guys sure are suckers... you pay us good money... and what do we have to do to support you when you have problems... not a damn thing."

Unless you clean up your act I'll give you 90 days before you are run off this board. Sam gave you a free pass. (I assume there is some money in this somewhere, but that does not concern me here. This board is being sold piece by piece to the highest bidders. Fortunately Sam will make some money to help defray the cost of hosting and at the end of the day it does not make much difference to us, the subscribers.) I'm not sure the rest of the subscribers here will give you the same pass Sam did since a lot of people have a long and not so happy history with you... and you would NOT be their first choice for a quote system... mainly because you have the customer service system from hell!

Being bought by W&B will automatically create six months of chaos and disorganization until you get digested. The sad part is that W&B has worse tech support than you folks do.

If I were a Norvax executive, I'd be a happy guy/gal right now!

Lord...I don't know about any of this but one thing's for sure. I'm certainly glad we now have Somarco welcoming 1st post advertisers on this forum. Interesting change in mentality.

I have put myself out here precisely because I *do* care. And WE care. If you truly are a customer of ours, and if you truly have an issue with our support, I ask that you email me privately I will look into your support situation personally within one business day and ensure it is resolved as quickly as I possibly can. If your vague public judgements here are for another purpose, then I'm confident that serious agents will be able to tell the difference between honest/open dialog and anonymous mean-spirited platitudes.

This is not an advertisement, and I'm not paying anything to be here. I'm trying to learn, and I'm hoping to help. You can help me learn if you contact me privately and we can discuss and resolve your situation, if you have one.

I moved to Norvax years ago because Quotit was very unresponsive to changes - most of which have likely been implemented by now (exporting data, removing the "show only plans with maternity option", auto responders, date of birth (not age).

I will say as far as presentation goes - Quotit wins hands down, always has. To me the ability to pick "featured" plans is essential.

My "unassisted" business was over 20X higher on Quotit than Norvax - due to presentation primarily. Granted I run a large amount of quotes and traffic (the amount that apply unassisted is extremely low anyhow unless you are running big numbers).

I did find the "forms" library to be very handy as well - this is still not an option on Norvax.

Competition is essential to both Quotit and Norvax - keeps both companies making enhancements and keeps price down.

I have told people for years, demo both and see what fits your business model better. Neither is perfect - both are missing some obvious "sales 101" features.

I wish I could do more custom and advanced work with either quote engine such as tracking, seo, and editing the code in detail to fit MY business (not cookie cutter).

It is for this reason I run over 90% of my traffic through generic forms that do not give any instant quotes. It just doesn't work with advanced SEO and advanced big money advertising.
 
Just gets old, All these companies and vendors are being invited from someone? Care to quess who is bringing all this to the forum? All this board has turned into anymore is a flea market of vendors peddling their systems. All we have now is inexperienced agents buying into all this, because someone is telling them its the greatest thing since sliced bread. :no:

In all honestly I find this statement disingenuous since most of your posts contain cleverly disguised digs on your competitor. Are you going to be here attempting to gain business on your own merits or by trying to bash your competitors?
