Realistic FE Production Numbers!

Every one of my clients ask what the rating is, and I happily disclose it...Maybe people in Pittsburgh, Ohio, WV, and KS are just more sophisticated then your neck of woods...I'm kind of surprised you don't encourage this type of education for your client base

He is Tennessee. Wearing socks is sophisticated there.

Dang, did I say that?:err: Sorry.

Every time I recommend a carrier, and disclose to them why, the prospects always ask, are the A rated....It's something I take pride in by only recommending A rated or higher companies...But then again not everyone practices this.

I've talked to plenty of people from those areas, they never asked either. I don't mind telling people what the rating is, but I just can't recall anyone asking until I told them. Usually I got a glazed eye look and it doesn't matter where they are from.

Perhaps someone has asked before I told them, but I really can't remember anyone ever asking. Annuity, VUL, WL, term, whatever.

I have never come across a client/prospect who didn't ask what the AM Best rating was, nor have I never delivered the AM Best rating to the client...It's pretty important for their Peace of Mind...Not saying its the end all be all, but most E and O carriers will only cover you if you represent A rated carriers...Any reason why that is????

Another BS statement. I've sold lots of policies via tele-sales in Va, Il, Tenn, La, Ind, Tx, NM, Neb, NE, NC, Md and no one asks about AM Best, no one.

You are.:D:D:D

What's hilarious is that I was pointing out that the Thread was getting a little off base and I have "you" chasing me down on several threads calling me a racist. What the F$#@....????:D

My man...I really struck a nerve with you and YOU were the one I was standing up for!? I seriously am laughing my ass off how ridiculous you're acting.

BS Lie...uve never met me & didnt know I was even black before u made your racists statement! Next time u wanna "stand up for me", SIT DOWN!!

I thought you were mexican!!! Especially being from california. Accually your not a minority your the majority in ca!! Lol. I think I might have maybe one white agent!!! Maybe!! He could be israeli! !!

You simply don't train the agents to point those things out like I said, what is so hard to understand? Why would you put out your company is not even rated? Why would you point out that your rates are the highest among companies? Why would you point out that you have a high turnover rate? ......you simply would never do that.......so you have to rely on slick sales tactics..that's it...:skeptical:

Because you know that first hand. Right? LOL Just another know it all. You know exactly what our training is. Yeah....hey agents, if you want to learn how to be slick, come work for us!:D:D

You're funny. I love guys on here like you. What you say is the gospel truth and it is what it is. That's all. Everything else is a lie.:D

Take care. Keep up the great information. Now, lets have the other 4-5 cronies that typically jump on board join in here...

cue the other professors of selling...

Yep no problem!! But fisrt you have to understand that in my area we don't receive very many leads. Most of my agents work with no leads or very little. They work very similar to how funerldirector works.

Most go door to door doing surveys or passing out flyers, working events etc.

On an average an agent of mine that can write 20k will take 80 leads a month if possible. Most of the time its not. We really work referrals mostly. We have a great system to generate them.

I would say that for my average new agent to write 5k they would need at least 30 leads a month. To write 10k they would need 50 or 60 and to write 20k at least 80.

But my average is hard to calculate because I have agents that work with no leads. I also have a very young agency. Not young in age but young in the market. I have one kid that sits outside a grocery store and writes 8k a month.

Our agency doesn't consider leads as a base for production.

This month my whole agency purchased $8000 in leads total at $28 a piece and wrote 92k. I have 14 agents including myself. I had only one agent that broke 20k this month.

That's about 285 leads we took as a group which comes out to an average of 20 leads per agent.

This is exactly what this Forum should be about. Educating and answering legit questions.

Not the kindergarten crap that goes on here.

Thank you! Keep it up. Maybe we can actually add real value to this place? But that's a milestone in itself.

HOOOOOLY CRAP. Ok. Now you're just being ignorant. I have to move on. But what I was saying was that I was not sticking up for YOU in particular!?

Dude...what the hell is wrong with you? You seriously actually can sell? Because I know reading isn't your specialty.:goofy:

He doesn't write too well either. Maybe there is a correlation on this forum between the "writing level" and the "maturity level".

I think they may be something wrong with your maturity level, since you don't sell A rated or higher companies. And did you think that your clientele of Final Expense clients may be different than my group of clients, where the majority of them are business owners, or other successful professionals???? We deal with two different types of clients. And every one of my clients have asked me what the AM Best rating is for the company I recommend they go with. Apparently people taking out $2 million of term or permanent coverage care about this little over looked issue. Grow up Insuranceman, and do the right thing.
