Referral Systems

I would like to hear how others ask for referrals, do you have a system. This is one area I fall down and don't have good habits.

I think a lot of people over think this... I just ask. Whether a policy is written or not, if the meeting went well it never hurts to ask in a short, casual confident way. It never hurts to ask, but play around with it and experiment.

One way or the other, you HAVE to get an introduction. A phone call, email, or handwritten note on a one-page intro piece.

I absolutely love a conference call to get introduced, or at the very least and email with me cc'd in on it to set the stage.
