"State Regulated Life Insurance Program designed to help pay what Social Security does not pay under the current burial entitlement."

State Regulated? Come on. All life insurance is state regulated. So is all home, auto, and commercial insurance.

I get letters with that same sentence and throw them in the trash.

How about "Dear mortal. I would like to sell you insurance that will pay for your funeral upon your inevitable death so that your family doesn't have to pony up the cash."

I might respond to that one myself.

Can I get your address?

They won't remember if they have been worked or not.. :)

That's true but I'd be highly surprised if jd's hero is spending stamp money and call time on aged leads that have already been worked, especially the way jd talks about throwing them in trash.
