Remote working perks

I like beans in chili. I prefer a soupy chili opposed to a thick chili. Got to have some meat and spicy. we still talking chili?

Nothing like hitting a late night taco truck or trailer for a couple of street tacos.
I like it with beans and soupy too. I like it with cheese and either bbq corn chips or cornbread in my chili.

The downside to remote work (especially be rural) is when your already crappy internet goes down.

We have to use a Hotspot in the house. It does everything we need, but it still sucks. 2am it went down and it's still out.

I despise Elon Musk, but I'll still buy Starlink when it becomes available.
So we have that available here (you can actually see the satellite chains in the night sky when the launch from FL.).

I don't have it because we have fiber but it's kind of like direct TV or dish from what I hear.

Great if the weather is good. Not so great otherwise.

I would think that may be an issue in MI.

Not to horrible. The main issue is the snow season, but the dish is self melting.. the sky, itself (especially out here..) is super clear.

We have no issues with Sat TV... even though I don't use it.

We have to use 4G now.. which works surprisingly well. I've also used Viastat (sat) which connected fine in the winter.. but the latency was a major issue.

I'd love fiber, or even just cable... I need something reliable or a backup because the wife and I both wfh.
