Remote working perks

No shade was being thrown intentionally...

I have been all over Mexico and it's just hard to replicate what you get at some random little corner shop there vs in the states. Maybe it's the atmosphere/circumstances that makes them taste better?

I only mentioned those states because they seem the closest overall.

I have had awesome tacos in TX, they just didn't seem the same. Still really good, though.

Oh, and I put beans in my chili so take that!
Don't tell anybody, but my wife likes beans in her chili, too. If you remember Marie Callendar's restaurants, she used to wait tables there and swears they had the best chili anywhere. I like beans. I like chili (both red and green). I just don't like them mixed.

I love chili. I only really make it in the winter unless there is a contest or something.

Wino wouldn't like mine because it isn't really "soupy" but I strike a pretty good balance between heat, meat, and sauce/broth/whatever you want to call it.

Beans just add so much more depth. Especially using multiple types of beans.

I love chili (did I say that already)?

Chili:
NO BEANS!:arghh:

NO GROUND BEEF!:arghh:

NO TOMATOES!:arghh:

I'm just messin' with you! I eat "chili con carne" as they call it in Ohio (As a matter of fact, I kind of like Wendy's chili. Shhhh!). But if I want the true, authentic, bowl of red that originated in San Antonio, it should look like this:

I also love NM style chili verde! I had some once at a little dive in some remote NM town at the base of the mountains where nobody in the place was speaking English. Best verde I've ever had!

Colorado o Verde?

Verde
And while we are at it, Mary Ann.

That picture reminds me of Costillas in salsa. Yum
