You bring up some good points, but Cooperstown is not a museum, or a history or retelling of the sport, it is a Hall of Fame. And Pete Rose brought shame to himself and baseball. He can certainly be in any of the several baseball museums in the country.

He did bring shame to himself and, to a small extent, baseball. No getting around that.

But he also brought glory and pride to baseball that far outweighs the bad.

I would consider them just as famous.

Especially considering that they broke the records that Ruth and Mantle once held.
