For SPWL. All three have a SPWL product which is the major player in the SPWL market? I think Baltimore pays 13-15% what do the other carriers pay? And how do they compare with a 67 year old male NS I would place as super preferred. What premium would it take to produce a 100k death benefit?

Everytime I've compared RNA's against Baltimore, Baltimore comes out on top.

That's one of the two reasons I have Baltimore; for the SPWL and the telesales aspect.

Standard has the worst rates for SPWL of any company I have seen. They have the highest commission but it's not worth doing the client that way.

I was looking at them a few months back. I didn't think their commissions were anything special and their rates were, as you said, terrible. The only only thing competitive I found was their high deduct Plan F Med Supp (the rest of the Med Supps were over priced), but I already have another company filling that role. So, I passed on it.
Just couldn't see myself ever writing them.

I think I'm at 18% commission for Standard Lifes SPWL. The rates are terrible, so I've never written them. They do have a nice Short Term Care policy (Recovery Care II) that is simplified issue. That's about ask I use them for.

For SPWL, that's relatively easy issue, out of those three I'd write Baltimore. If they are in good health, and are looking for the highest death benefit possible, I'd shop for a single pay GUL.

To answer the other question about the premium, Baltimore's premium for a 67 year old, non-smoker, would be $100,502 face amount for $60,000.
