Rumor on Assurant

I just got another rumor that Assurant might leave the individual market completely.

So Sept 23rd they might be pulling out on concentrating on the small group market.

I am posting this rumor because I think we will see a lot of small carriers pick and choose what markets they want to compete in.

The rumors will continue, but Assurant isn't going to drop IFP. That is my opinion AND rumor.

Really and why do you think this such an impossibility?

They rent their networks! This is a huge dis advantage.

In the state of Indiana they only offer two individual plan designs. So it could be just for my state or it could be for the entire county.

If they are talking about in my state then I am sure as a company they are looking at loss ratios in each state and comparing the competition.
