According to the BLS men are 2.3X more likely than women to work 60+ hours a week.

There is a Reuters story in 2012 about how educated women quit work as their spouses work more.

40% of female attorneys and doctors are not practicing 4 years after licensing.

For the most part women don't want to take on roles of senior executives and owners. They are smart, it's hard and stressful. But let's not pretend there is some sort of problem because everything isn't 50/50 because they don't want it. And they are smart not to want it.
