Sagicor Final Expense Rates

If you write for Assurity- expect a APS 99% of the time

Expect 3 days for your faxed app to get in the system, another 7 days for it to show up on their site and 2 weeks after fax?... expect the decision to order an APS

Only worth while product they have is the Acc-Flex- and it's a great product, other than them paying the 1st or the 15th.. it's a great product- but the rest of it is dogsh*t... Your client will have another birthday by the time it gets rated or approve, then there's the whole save face premium due...

I will never see another Term nor WL with that company

I've had almost the complete opposite experience with Assurity. I submit applications with the secure email system and they are always in the system within two days. They can be a bit happy with the APS trigger but once all requirements are in they issue policies relatively quickly. Their SPWL is one of the best on the market. Their FE is also great for certain niches as it is one of few that goes down to age 0.

Agreed on your sentiment and experience with Assurity. Often times the negative experience that an agent has with any company is in attempting to get a case issued that doesn't fit their peramaters.... and never should have been submitted there to begin with.

I submitted a SIWL appl to Assuirty on Mon of this week, hard copy faxed in (eApp is outside the realm of comfort for client), and the policy arrived in my mail on Sat of the same week. As stated, Assurity has their niche... and as long as you are hitting within their niche they are great to deal with; IMO. But again, there are many more cases that they do not fit as well.

Eh- it's 5 years out on some cancer and heart stents etc-- It's been a while since I wrote anything with them- I believe insulin is a knockout? I can't recall, something tells me it was- Plus they ask for a DL- the breaking point for me was- they said they didnt get a hit on the DL# I wrote- so I e-mailed the UW and told it it was correct- she still couldnt get it- asked for a copy of the DL- so had to go outta my way to drive there again, get her license- run to kinkos, make a copy.. sent it in and it finally got issued- 25 pages for a simple FE policy? I like fast quick apps- get right to the meat and potato's and screw giving me 7 copies of a replacement forms etc..

I really like Americos app- especially for banking- no need to write all that info down- its a fast app and gets issued quick. I submitted an app one time on a thursday night after running appts and it was issued that friday... Thats what I like

Only crappy thing about Americo is that its a 100% chargeback if the policy is cancelled or lapses in THE FIRST YEAR

Even on a 75% advance- if your client cancels on the 11th month.. you boned....

I only write Americo for extreme cases now.. and its a shame really- i love their app and no PHI's and fast issue.. that chargeback policy really sticks it to the agent tho' and has me writing through other companies- if Americo would go the "unearned" chargeback policy then they'd get 90% of my business

Does Americo charge back that way for all FE policies or just the GI ones?

That's common for GI business to have 100% 1st year chargebacks.

Yup, corrected- its Protector III - was given bad info- just double checked with my upline- Good news for me.. I love that app!

I haven't had the "lovely" chance to write an Assurity app yet. Thankfully, my client went with the guarantees. RNA, got qualified in two weeks with fully UW Esssential whole life 20pay. Hard to beat that rate, everything was way higher for a smoker.

You're lucky

Better rates and faster issue through many other companies

Their non med term 350 is nice- good rates- but be prepared to tell your clients an APS is more than likely and it'll be 3-4 weeks out.. and if they are a vet and their records are at Haley- shake their hand and tell them you'll let them know in 6 months
