Saturday Status on Healthcare.gov-DOWN

I spent well over an hour doing an subsidy application for a family of 5 today, got to the last screen to sign, and was told the system verification is unavailable so the application could not be submitted, it can only be 'saved for later'.

Once the application is saved you have to go through the entire app again (each and every screen) to get back to the submission screen, what a mess, you don't even know until the last screen that the verification isn't working. I actually did the whole thing 2X because I didn't read the about the verification issue the first time.

Update-I called and spoke with the Marketplace rep, she said they had just found out about it and would know when it was back up (she thought it would be 2 or 3 hours) so I won't do anything with this app until I've confirmed that the system is back up.

Hopefully with the new streamlined application, you'll be able to pick up where you left off. Even before the new enrollment application was introduced, the system (in my experience) saved most of the screens prior to encountering a fatal error.

I can't run any quotes for Illinois tonight. HC.gov says that my "territory" is causing an unknown error. November 15th will be worse. Particularly so because it falls on a Saturday. I wouldn't put it past the HC.gov I.T. overseers to have had a maintenance outage pre-planned for that weekend since 1/1/14.
