I was running a review for a client today and noticed that the results list of plans included carriers who are no longer in the county, plans that are discontinued in 2025, and monthly cost estimates based on a coverage gap. After double-checking everything, clearing cache, etc. the problem still remains. I've put in a support ticket but if you're using S&S you will want to make sure you're looking at 2025 and not 2024 numbers.

December 1st reminder when running quotes

Good Day,

Please remember that on December 1st we discontinue the ability to quote 2024 plans.

If you still see 2024 plans in your clients quote it is because you did not click the "UPDATE" button to show 2025 plans.

This often happens when you have not gone into a clients list since last year.

A simple click of the "UPDATE" button in the Location & Plan Year section of the Customer Profile will set everything right.

We hope this reminder helps!

Sincerely,

That seemed to work. But it's still a problem that the client's banner shows "2025" when it is actually returning "2024" results. Some kind of visual warning would be nice.

It'll update to 2025 when you select it. Close the plan you're looking at and it should work.

However, a week or two ago, I couldn't get 2025 plans to show either. It was selected and still showed 2024. I logged out and back in and it corrected it.
Their site is riddled with bugs, slow, and it looks outdated. They better hope no one else gets an accurate doctor lookup tool. They'll be out of biz if they don't get better.

@Limozine I had the same problem. Tried everything. Closed the program and restarted. Rebooted my computer. Still showing 2024 plans & rates even though the top of the page said 2025.

I reported it and it eventually got fixed but quite annoying.

About the same time I ran a report listing 3 pharmacies and NONE of them showed up in the report. They eventually fixed that too after filing a ticket.

Same problem here - ran a quote and it said 2025 at the top but then noticed "gap" in the thing and everything was over $2,000 including WC Value Script (may they rest in horror) - and I thought, that can't be right.

Had to close plan, manually update to 2025, re-open.

It should not be on us to remember to update every client individually to 2025 during AEP.

We have better things to do with our time.

@scottnichols

It's probably the best system out there and I'm a fan and I've recommended it over and over - but this was a massive oversight.

I could see if we still needed to see 2024 plans. We don't; they should be deleted. 2024 is not an option, and it defaults to 2025, as it should. But when it shows 2025 in the dropdown, it should show 2025 plans.

I don't know who designed and updated the site, but they need to be fired. It looks like it's stuck in the 1990s.

the 2024 info is nice to have as a reference during AEP - "Ok, he was paying this, but now he will pay this etc.."

site design I don't mind, its the slowness of the website that bugs me.

I also don't like that they brand their product on the printouts for the customer. They should be branded the agent, S&S needs to be invisible to the customer

But it says 2025. It doesn't make sense. Believe me.

And yes, the silent awkwardness is horrible when you're on the phone with a client. They blame it on all the drugs and doctors they need to pull up, blah blah. It's funny because Sunfire pulls it in a second. As I mentioned, they had better pray that another company doesn't improve the doctor's accuracy. They are out of biz if someone else gets it.

Just ran what (hopefully) is my last report for the year. Client asked for a do over to remove a drug, so I checked off "omit from plan" then ran the report.

Drug was still there.

Repeated, even though the drug was indeed omitted in the drug list. Ran the report again. Nope, the drug is still included.

Guess it is time to look for another software program . . .
