Selling FE to the Kind of People Even Some Superstars Couldn't Sell to

OK, i keep getting leads to prospects in Plano, TX. This area is full of swanky condominiums with tight security, and retirement communities with doors accessed only with the use of swipe cards. It has an average family income of $101,000 and is populated by highly educated, upwardly mobile types. Many of them are also immigrants from non-Western countries like India. They are also "far too busy" to meet with a piddling life insurance salesman, even at 8PM.

These are the kind of folks Agentguy5 has said he couldn't sell to around Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, FL. Now some of you are probably thinking, "Well dumbass, why did you order leads for an area like that?" I listed Collin County (where Plano is) as my fourth or fifth choice on my lead orders. My first choice, Grayson County, which is the perfect FE area, out of 120 DM leads I have never gotten a single lead for it. And no, I didn't know you could order by zip codes either.

So, is there anybody here with a lot of experience selling FE to self-important rich buttholes? Any strategies you'd care to share? Thanks in advance!

I just wanna know who the lead vendor is or who the IMO is:)

isn't there usually some kind of income filter? If someone took time to fill out the card I'm going to call on them. I get in all kinds of trouble in my head when I think about someone being too rich or too poor to buy FE insurance.

Oh, i work the hell out of all my leads, no matter what. I've just found that when I go to an upscale home they never answer the door (even when their Range Rover is parked in the driveway), and they never respond to my sticky notes. And when I do manage to get hold of them, they're very dismissive toward me, like "why should I waste my time with a nobody like you?" Reminds me of my AFLAC days.

Been a little over 2 weeks now. What became of those leads?

Just a sales related question - considering your mind set is negative going in - do you think your bad vibes may be turning off some prospects without you even realizing it?

2.5 year old thread. Do you think the fact that you have no life license makes you a troll?

Come on moderators.

I had some really difficult trial & error learning experiences in my first year of selling Final Expense. But I'm not sure why anybody feels the need to drudge this up 2.5 years later.

I only just saw NuUzr's comment, because I hardly ever visit this forum anymore. Between the annoying new format and the fact that completely useless trolls like NuUzr have taken over this forum, I don't find it to helpful these days.
