Is anyone familiar with a gentleman named Ed Gentry? I'm considering working with him to sell final expense thru Baltimore Life via telephone. Just wondering if anyone has had experience working with him. I've had some bad experiences with other imo's that ended up costing a lot of time and money--just trying to avoid that. thanks for any input!

I am familiar with him only by reputation. His reputation is that he is one of the good guys.

I did some fe face-to-face--didn't like going into "those" neighborhoods, also didn't like breathing a lot of cigarette smoke; have sold health ins over the phone very successfully for last 4 yrs but don't want to work for 40% of what I was previously paid, so thought fe telesales would be a good fit for me. I enjoyed working out of my home--don't have to dress up, spend $ on dry cleaning or gas, or drive all over the countryside getting no-showed.
