Selling Final Expense...Whats Your Schedule?

I figured something was up with JDeasy. Although I don't agree with everything Jd says, I agree with about 95% of it. His posts are very entertaining, informing and spot on the vast majority of the time.

If a rookie or even a seasoned pro ask a qustion he is more than willing to give his input. I don't know who put him in the penalty box but whoever he was, he was wrong.

If the intent of this forum is to help fellow agents in the FE arena Jd gets my vote for MVP

But I won't be posting much here going forward.

This will be a loss to the benefit of all here when it comes to REAL nuts and bolts, hands on... FE biz.
JD may raise the ire of several with his communication style but the vast majority here have benefited from his knowledge and experience. :1baffled:

I would have to agree with everybody posting. JD needs to be in this forum for what he represents and stands for. If he gets booted, I will leave in the process and start bad reviews of this forum in blogs. The freedom of speech and telling things how they are is what I prefer.

Maybe some prefer lies and Koolaid hype, I prefer to live in reality.

Part of that is accurate. The part that's not is why. But I won't be posting much here going forward. They want the liars to have free rein. You can tll who they are because they are the ones happy with the new rules. I am forbidden from sahring swaet equity with new agents. Goes against everything I thought this forum was. In my opinion, of course.

As for the op, all I do is FE and I've been a fulltime FE agent for over 4 years. An agent for almost 10 years.

I get 15 leads per week. I am in the field 2 days per week. Tues and Thurs. My goal is 6 appointments on each of those days. My appointments are an hour and a half apart. I set my own appointments. I set Tues. on Mon and Thurs on Wed. My ap goal is to write $3000 ap per week. I've been $1000 per week over that goal for over 4 years. The reason I'm over goal is because I don't need 15 leads to average $3000 ap. By contract with EFES I have to order 15 leads per week.

JD: Welcome back.. You have been missed. Hope you reconsider on not posting very often... Louis

You sound like your in the same boat as me... Trying to figure out this FE thing solo lol.

Final expense sales is not rocket surgery, but it does require some help to get good at it. I'd be happy to help you succeed, as an independent, in this business. Being "alone" is not a great place to start.

I would rather communicate privately going forward.I respect Sam but the banning of me in this instance was completely unwarranted. There may have been some times in the past where I wouldn't have disagreed with him but this time is not one of them.

He has politely warned me to stop stop responding to attacks on me with a "sledgehammer", which I will admit to doing. He asked me to report attack towards me to him and let him handle them. I agreed to do so.

I had a vitriol attack made towards me. I did report the attack. When the post was allowed to stand I did respond to it myself and not with a "sledgehammer". The response was no where near even matching the attack. So I was banned. In fairness to Sam he did say that I did not give him enough time between reporting the attack and responding to it myself. But, it was probably more a cumulative thing anyway?

That's all beside the point now. The thing seems to be that one of the new frauds has thrown in with one of the old frauds and is getting a pass because of that. I know both of them so I can't see that marriage lasting but until it does fall apart the new status quo is the status quo.

It sickens me to read some of this garbage that is allowed to stand unchallenged now. I was reading this morning advice on doing this business from a person that I know does not produce and has not produced. He is a recruiter though.

As a rank FE amateur, that has combed this forum for weeks, JDEasy's posts are easily the most helpful and insightful from my perspective.

I also agree with Newby that his are the most entertaining. He calls it like he sees it.

If JDEasy posts are limited in the future, so will my time on this forum.

My first PM (after my 20th post) was going to be to JD to thank him.

I agree. I have contracts with 3-4 people here. So I do not have a problem with recruiters. Just be straight up. My problem is with the people that try to blow smoke up our collective a$.

Isn't that all of them? I know they are not all created equal but that is the nature of the recruiting wars. Even my IMO uses me an example of how you can work "2 days a week" and write over $200,000 ap. That is so much BS and it pisses me off that say that. yes, I'm in the field 2 days a week so it seems to be partially true but it's misleading as hell and they are some of the good guys.

The people I pay the most attention to here at the forums are ones that do not recruit, wino, volagent, tins, {ok, I know he recruits but not overtly}, Rick, Readen, Rouse, Newby, {yes, he is kinda of a rcruiter but not really}, etc. There are many more and that's the trouble with making a list, you leave out people.

But, new agents seem to be the most gullible people on earth. I was guilty of that as well. I fell for the smoke and mirrors of NAA and Parker and Asses and RBI and one i am forbidden to name.

Recruiters have their numbers they need to get. They know 90% are going to wash out so if they can recruit a hundred they might get 10 producers. I don't understand that dynamic and I guess that's why I'm not one.

Still, I would think that being stright up would bring recruits to your door. I know I get numerous calls, eamils and pm's from people wanting to sign up with me. People seek out tins and Newby without them doing any recruiting. Todd king doesn't have to recruit a single person. Other send people to him.
