SELLING INSURANCE ONLINE

I was wondering if most companies will allow you to sell over the phone??

Health carriers with online apps include:

Blue
Aetna
GGI
CRL
Time/Assurant
Golden Rule/UHC
Fairmount
Security
Humana
Unicare
KP

www.sasid.com allows you to sell online. ( I know a lot of people on this board do not like them because they use GTL, a B rated co.)

www.bisysinsurance.com lets you sell term over the phone.

That isnt a big deal. You still need clients wheather you are paperless or not. You still can sell paper apps like everyone is saying by fax or otherwise. I wouldnt get to caught up with it.

All the mojor carriers in California

I know that in California all the major carriers allow you to sell insurance online.

Aetna - applicant has to type in your broker #
Blue Cross - direct link
Blue Shield - direct link
HealthNet - direct link
Kaiser - applicant has to type in your bloker #
Nationwide Health - direct link
Assurant Health - direct link
Celtic - paper application only
PacifiCare - direct link

My suggestion would be trying to search for a company that can put a template together for you all automatically link all the companies for you. For example here is my website www.HealthCoverageQuotes.com All it is template and it all goes through me. Buid by Quotit, Inc (www.quotit.net).

I think the bigger obstacle might be is online marketing.

Good Luck.

What do you pay for the site?

I have not heard anyone talk about Yahoo's geocities. You can get a site that you have to build yourself for $9 a month. I have used the free version for family pix and info, but I am thinking of doing a site for myself after the Medicare market is closed and I need to change gears.

I pay around $250 a month. I used to use Quotit engine for my website now I use Norvax. Norvax is available in a lot more states and they quote more carriers. Also I have web designing backgroung and Norvax system lets me cusmomize my website the way I want it. I get a lot more organic (free) search engine traffic with Norvax system vs Quotit. Most of the website I designed myself. It also ranks number one for sertain health insurance related keywords on search engines.

I believe you meant to say this is a norvax template site. Unless you recently switched from quotit to norvax. I know that is a norvax site because I have the same template as you and mine is norvax. www.internethealthpro.com but I don't used it very much because I don't know how to do the meta tagging on that site so I used my other site www.hart4insurance.net where organic search engine rankings I am in the top 10 on yahoo and google in my local area.
