Selling Term Life Online Nationwide

dot your I's and cross your T's, don't use a DBA in non-resident states. Don't have any advice for Florida (waiting forever)

Steve - Thanks!
I know about NIPR but wasn't sure what is the turnaround time for getting registered as Non Resident for a state. Are some state known to be difficult for a quick turnaround or are most states easy to get?

Getting the license issued can take some a little time and then there is getting the appointment for that state with the carrier. Most states do not require you to be appointed before soliciting though some do, but for most you can submit the contracting with the first app.

So why don't all 874,295 of us come together and market just ONE landing page that produces free "Pre-sold term life insurance leads for all of us.

Are you for real with this program? (Or am I getting trolled? If I am, you got me good!)

If this is for real, why are you calling it a "pre-sold" lead? Compulife application requests are just leads that still need to be qualified and sold.

I believe he means Pre-sold as sold to us and not a lead company then turning around and selling it.

Get a large group of agents together and forum market. Go to forums about any subject you are interested in and add value. Have a signature that goes back to one common landing page that all agents share. If large group of agents got together and marketed this it would produce large amounts of leads. When I say Pre-Sold, I mean that the prospect has requested an application be mailed to them. I have sold many policies off of my website and it's always the same. Not just a lead.

Aren't you the same guy who just recommended that new agents should go captive with Bankers Life?

I know it's unrelated to this thread but somehow I feel it's relevant.

I'm calling BS. You're completely misrepresenting your leads and preying on agents that don't know any better.

We get several compulife application requests a day and each of them need to be called and sold. You don't simply mail them an app cold with no contact- it doesn't work that way.

On top of that you're calling them "free" pre-sold leads, but you charge a monthly fee.

Agents BEWARE.

Why don't you start in NJ, make some money, add a state, and repeat. As far as Pinney goes, they only pay 50% commission on their "you just take the app and let us do everything for you" program. When there are contracts out there pushing 140% you'd have to be nuts or lazy to surrender that much comish

Your first post and you're already bashing a well respected IMO and telling people they can go out and get a 140% contract?

That is not telling the whole story.
The low comp situation would be if he allowed the backroom to make the sale and he was no part of it at all. If he made the sale and took the app on ezlife he would get normal comp.... not 140 since there is almost no imo that pays that.... especially on every term company... especially to green agents with no production history....
