Safeco here in my part of NY, Nat Gen almost never for us.

Oh! I'm in NY too! But I'm downstate. I haven't had much success with Safeco. Commercial carriers I'd say Amtrust is winning my business..

Auto-Owners in MI.

Not only are they competitive right now to their preferred demo, they have underwriters that are flexible and aren't robot "yes/no"-like.

Also, the bonuses don't hurt :-P

Definitely. To be honest, Safety is never on my top 4 in Winrater. Ive seen some rates decrease in early 2017 but then came back up again. Not that I look for prices only, but the difference is 500-$700 sometimes, and that's a lot!. Lovely carrier to work with though.
