Should I Leave Lincoln Heritage?

I randomly stumbled upon Final Expense and I came to website for a top Lincoln Heritage manager.

When I went to a meeting, the manager was a very great and like minded person to me. The opportunity sounded great as well, and for that reason I jumped on board. I would usually research thoroughly, but I felt this was the right opportunity for me since we had so much in common and he is a good, honest man.

However, after joining this forum a few weeks ago, it seems LH is bashed left and right.

I do not think Lincoln is a bad company by any means. The Funeral Consumer Guardian Society aspect is a strong selling point, the home office is great, and our managers/regional manager are great people.

You can make a lot of money when you become a manager, etc. and even as an agent, but I don't want to put in all my time and energy to this company if it is a bad way to go.

And especially if there are other products which are equivalent and cheaper for the customer.

What are some solid reasons for why all the bashing of LH?

If you are with Lincoln Heritage and reading this, please do not get the wrong idea. I am not going to jump ship, I just want to make sure I am in the right place.

Thank you.

Edit: thank you for the many responses. It's always beneficial to have an open, honest discussion. Lincoln Heritage is still the best fit for me because of the simplicity of the product, FCGS, management, team, etc. There are many agents who make $100k+ per year at LH. Say what you will, but customers are very happy and more and more policies are sold every day. I wish you all the best and I'm sure we will cross paths again.

LH is a good place to start

you will get decent training and you don't have to pay for the leads with actual cash every week

once you learn that you should be in the market long term there are better options out there both for the agent and the client.

if you ever leave LH you will leave behind your renewals so i tell people if you aren't going to stay there the rest of your life then you should get out now
