One thing I know is this. Med supp doesn't sell itself and won't fly off the shelves until the prospect is EDUCATED about what is included in the package.

Granted, some folks take the approach that all G plans are identical so why not just go with the lowest rate? When that rate goes up, shop for a new low rate.

I went anti-Aetna when they stopped paying us on Silver Smart.

If they are adding a new Med Supp, with a low cheap rate and cutting the consumer out, I am 100% anti Aetna. Screw them

The PDP quote engine I use also has Medigap rates . . . they are showing in TN at this moment. Good rates but not smoking the competition in the zip I used.

Can't speak for Bob, but I'm going to assume he's talking about Search & Save. They have the SS Med Supp on their quote engine

Gosh, you don't suppose that product will be marketed direct to existing PDP clients do you?

I expect to see more companies trying to cut agents out of the loop. Charge virtually the same rate and save the commission.
