How does New Era and EQ treat sleep apnea, because it isn't oxygen? Appreciate any insight!

Eq should be good if no oxygen.
I heard that once before and being I have sleep apnea, I had confirmed with a couple carriers,Because sleep Apnea sleep mach oxygen is not the same as oxygen for copd.
It's not a pure oxygen needed for lung disorders. it is just for pressure to open airways. That is it and would not be a yes for using oxygen question for health or life cov

This is where I call underwriting to make sure I'm getting the answer from the folks that are going to make the ultimate decision.
Keep in mind sleep apnea is an issue with a piece of flesh like a flap that closes while asleep causing obstruction blocking airways.All a sleep mach does is open those airways. there are also surgeries that can fix this permanently

I've written a couple of Cigna policies with Sleep Apeana/CPap. They also have a knock out for O2. BUT I've been sure to put that in the agent's notes as well. Maybe I've been lucky.
