Not quite that bad but the preferred are higher than Columbian Elite based on the ages I have looked at. Haven't looked at the modified.I’m hearing the new rates are in the LH range.

That’s outrageously high. If that’s not LH pricing it’s damn close.
Well, they said you would make more commission with the new plan.... That will be true on the ones you write but I would say most agents will not write as many as they were writing. They seem to have relegated themselves to a niche company at best. Here's LH as a comparison
F: $57.40
M: $68.00
Lol what a joke. Who makes these decisions?

Diabetes with neuropathy up to 120 units of insulin is standard. 121+ is graded. The app is on the agent portal but not the rates or UW guide. The app has a few changes for better. Diabetes with neuropathy is standard. COP with O2 is no longer a KO but is modified. COPD without O2 is standard.
Doesn't look like they really took on that much additional risk. If the SSP was profitable, it would appear they would be belter off leaving it alone. If you look at the overall risk/health they’re taking now then you have to expect higher rates.
ratea basically have two influencers, underwriting and comp: I think we all know that, but it’s worth repeating.
