It's like drinking sugar syrup. Took one sip and my blood sugar shot up to 200.

Horrid stuff. No wonder 75% of the south is on insulin.

The way sweet tea is served in the South you can also use it as a substitute for syrup on pancakes.

Many years ago, I used to fly out of JFK and had an apartment on Long Beach... being from the Deep South, you can imagine my surprise the first time I ordered a Long Island Tea.

BTW... it is pronounced "lung giland" for those of you that haven't been there.
