SPWL Products

No harm no foul. I am a big boy and I thank you for taking the time to point this out to me. Another thought on the 10 pay product is to put the lump sum into annnuity and take the 10% free withdrawal out to pay the premiums. Presto; the client does not have to worry about where the money is coming from, and you, Mr. Insurance Professional, just made a double commission.

P.S. I truly do thank you for taking the time to point this out. Next time you are just "passing" through rural Araknsas let me know and I will take you to lunch. Oh yeah in case you were wondering we do have a McDonalds, and our version of Outback is just that; outback behind the shed......LOL. Happy Hunting and good luck

Now, back to the original question...Americo is not bad, American Amicable is decent and look into Assurity for the bigger cases that involve a greater net amount at risk.

That's a very good idea.

Everyone knows that I am a BIG cheerleader for ForeThought. But that being said, I must respectfully ask, what do you find attractive about thier single premium whole-life? It's aweful!

Last I checked it the ForeLife version had VERY small increase of death benefit above the premium paid compared to all of the other choices out there.

If you're speaking about the Encore or Select versions of ForeThought they have recently dropped the growth WAY below all of their competitors.

Unless I'm missing something, that is a BAD choice.

I would look at the products from North American (NACOLAH) , Baltimore Life, Americo, and Oxford. I'm not sure which is best. I know Americo has a 5-year guarantee that the walk-away value will be equal to the premium paid in which is nice.

Thanks for you reply. I'm looking into a couple of these and all are very good suggeststions. Baltimore Life has some very good accelerated benefits (home health care) which I'm finding some other plans dont have.

This is a neat concept!

Are you in the right post or did I just miss something?

I dont see how me asking for help is offering anything. Besides, Sagicor does not have a good SPWL and they have alot to learn before Id work with them.

I'm interested in finding out if anyone knows of a good SPWL product they have confidence in. I have clients that NEED this.

Thanks!

Genius,

In your original post you were asking for ideas about good SPWL Products from a variety of carriers because you have a need or want to potentially show this Inheritance Planning-Wealther Transfer-Wealth Creation-Chronic Illness solution for your clients. You were given information pertaining to Sagicor's Fixed Indexed SPWL info in an earlier thread. Did you review the information provided to you??? Request Illustrations from several SPWL "A" Rated carrier's (including Sagicor's) to lay down side by side to review and compare so you can decide what constitutes a "good" SPWL solution for your clientele? I think not...sounds like we all have alot to learn and it doesn't stop here.
It should never stop:idea:

We're currently working on a case to put $1Million from a recent spouse's death benefit into an ELIA (or part into ELIA and part into fixed) and using the interest and free withdrawal to convert the husband's own $1M policy to a no-lapse UL, leaving the kids and grandkids one day with $2M as a legacy from the parents, and the husband can withdraw additional monies if needed. He still makes a six-figure income so the death benefit from the spouse is not a necessity.

He obviously didn't like the information that was provided to him in an earlier thread! You'll never get a "Welcome to the Forum" if all you want to do is come on here and bash someone in your 1st post.

So since you advise him to do illustrations from "A" Rated carriers, I assume you already have. So what companies did you compare against and how did Sagicor rate among those companies?
