Had a fellow apply with me for BC and didn't include SS#. He told me it is not required by federal law that all they need is an ID# they can assign. Talked with BC and they said no. He said he helped write the law in Ohio, started busting my chops that I was ignorant and said I was useless. I told him my wife agreed with him and asked him if that meant he didn't love me anymore, probably shouldn't have done that but heck its Friday. Will any health company take someone without a ss#?

Unicare was the only company I know of that would write a policy without a SS#.....BUT THOSE DAYS ARE GONE....

Now, the case pays a commission of 150, would you call back?

Tell him you need his Social Security number before you can talk to him.

Can't speak about Ohio, but here in Florida, Golden Rule hasn't required a SS# for a couple of years now...
