Standard Markets for Commercial

My influence network has recently expanded and I am finding myself in uncharted waters. I am being introduced to decision makers of (what I currently consider) large commercial accounts and I don't know how to get the appointments it would take to compete. What is the best method to establish myself with carriers like Sentry or Philadelphia?
 
Unless it's changed recently, here in Ca you need one very serious qualification to get appointed with Philadelphia - a heartbeat.

Again, I'm speaking for Ca, I think that you need to be captive with Sentry, and you can't get an appointment, but I may be wrong. I've only come across them once. They aren't big over here.
