While I appreciate your expertise in this area, I don't think you're considering the possibilities. For instance, as a sole proprietor I chose to have my office phone under my personal name. The savings on the monthly cost vs a business plan far exceeded the tax benefits available if I had gone with a business line. Now that I've switched to voip that's no longer the case.
