Okay Obama care paid for in part by 500 Billion in Medicare fraud and waster savings. Now the Medicare Doctor fix is paid for by saving created by Obama care which hasn't even happened yet....Am I the only thinking we are double counting these savings and also very leary of these so called savings.

Curbing Medicare fraud? Easy. Create a new job - an independent contractor position much like a bounty hunter. A few week course to get licensed and thousands of people are off and running to catch Medicare fraud. They can pose as patients to catch crooked doctors and easily bust Medicare equipment suppliers.

Not much chance of not passing the house I would think. The House has already voted to postpone the cuts for 19 months but they couldnt get it through the Senate. The Senate version that passed only postponed the cuts until next November rather than the 19 months. So the House can accept the Senate version and still get another shot at it in November, the election factor being noted.

It is just a can that they are kicking down the road every year. Some of them want to kick it out a year and a half, some for less. Whatever. They continue to deal with it by not dealing with it. By just approving small increments they get to see the "savings" reflected in the health cost/budget reflections for the medium to long term, which of course is completely bogus what nothing new there. Once they deal with it for real they will have to reflect it in the budget projections for real. The solution: Don't deal with it.
