Tablet for FE Sales

I am considering an Asus slider for two reasons.. the attached heyboard and the fact that unlike most tablets, it has a full size USB port. Anybody have experience with the slider?

All tablets have good keyboards available for them.

The USB would be nice but Dropbox works good too.

Form tools works great. I scanned a complete application including replacement form into drop box then I open it in form tools fill it out and they sign. Then I can save the completed app back to drop box. I take a pic of the voided check and put it in the file and I'm done.

Went from lugging around a big bag to a IPad mini. Love it.

I wan
ted you to watch the video on this app called Ultimate Forms but I forgot to put a link. It's only like 5 minutes and they show how it works. Was hoping you or Newby could see if it would work and compare it against Form Tools.

The free version for single users only works with I-Pads.. I couldn't find the requirements for teh paid version.

It looks like it would work. What I do t know is the cost form tools is $5 and if I can take a pic and place it in the file for the voided check. Also form tools will let me type or do handwritten applications on the tablet.

There are keyboards available for Ipads and it is possible to use the camera adapter to access a USB port like USB flash drive. The flash drive has to be reformatted to a FAT 32 file structure which you can do from a laptop or desktop, so you can access the files on your Ipad. Several YouTube videos explain the process, if you are interested. I find it almost easier to use DropBox to access files on my Ipad.

I have an Asus Transformer 101. It goes from tablet to netbook with a click. Memory is expandable on the tablet and keyboard for a Hugh amount of memory. The keyboard has it's own battery so if the tablet goes dead just attach the keyboard. BTW, attaching the keyboard quick charges the tablet.

A little heavy. I have switched to a 7" Nexus.

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Insurance Forums

I can't find either version. If you can, post the link the free version. :)

How does the "handwritten" work? Is there a little box at the bottom like the one in the video I posted?

I'm trying to imagine hand-writing on the iPad but I could see my hand touching other parts of the screen and screwing up the process. Maybe I'm missing something?

In the video I posted, you write in a box at the bottom of the app and it fills in the letters up above in the form.

I prefer not to use a keyboard since I am terrible at typing. I like the idea of using a Stylus and writing the application out VS. a little keyboard of some kind.

The hand written works like a pen and paper if you mess up you can erase just the part you want to.
