You are wrong. The best advice is "buy low and sell high" followed closely by "Plastics." (hope someone gets that)

Now, you wouldn't mean "The Graduate," would you? (Mrs. Robinson)
The other quote is from Bernard Baruch.

I sent you the money and I can still see all my posts. What a ripoff!!
Hey do you recomonend any good books to buy on the business?
I find that if an agent will read the brochure, he will know everything he needs to know to get started. The brochure works as a script. Memorize the features and benefits. Your presentation has to be the same everytime or else you will fail. Stick to the script. Follow basic salesmanship. Qualify, present then assume close. Know the objections and cover them in your presentation. Be personable and listen to what they want. You can check out books from the library on sales. It's like writing a story. You start with an outline - opening, body and ending.
"buy low and sell high"
If you are new to this business and want to sell Life, Health, P&C, Annuities or even pet insurance. My advice to you is to take a weekend and read ALL of the posts pertaining to your chosen field. It is truly amazing how much useful information can be gleaned from this forum.
When I found this site I spent a weekend doing exactly that. I have sold heath and life for 17 years, and still I was able to cut and paste 19 pages of notes, articles, links and general information. Some of which I had used in the past, but as it worked so well, I quit using it.
Believe me this will be time well spent, and will be of immense help to get you started.
There is a wealth of information here, read it, takes copious notes, utilize it and you will be off to a good start.
