Do most Americans not even have enough money left when they die to pay for their funeral?
well a little planing always helps....like in my case I want to be buried in a little local cemetery that's about 5 miles from my house...called and plots are $1000....also this cemetery was used in the opening of the movie Texas Chain Saw Massacre....so I give my kids a story to tell their kids....

Everyone has their own wants and wishes for after they die.

I would be happy with Scotty to just beam me out.

My personal belief is death is like a light switch. When it is turned off thats it lights out. Nothing afterwards. Your light slowly fades from people's memory in a generation or two.

Cremation, <$1,000, a 45 minute drive to the National Cemetery. Taps, Volleys, Flag. Paid in full when I said 'I Do' 50nyears ago. Load up drive back. TriTip, Ribs Tacos, beer, the kids can pay this - rag on Pops with stories like me throwing the computer over fence. Laugh, cry laugh some more.

Then move on with life. I am no more.

So my final funeral expenses = <$5,000
