The Salesman Who Doesn't Sell

I would think writing $20,000-$50,000 premiums is easier/more successful face-to-face than over the phone.

Do you want to be an clerk/order taker or a consultant? I would also like to get their investment business as well.....this is also in my opinion easier/more successful face-to-face than over the phone.

If your going to focus on cheap term insurance, then this guys system works. I'm sure every once in a while he stumbles across a nice permanent insurance case, but probably not the norm for him. Personally, I would rather spend my time working with larger cases than smaller ones, which means working with a certain type of prospect and not casting such a broad net, therefore not letting whatever lead came in that day dictate my client base. For each his own though right? Lots of ways to help clients and none of them are wrong if your putting coverage in place where there was none.
