I'm about to wrap up week two of my daily video blogs on insurance websites. I've got lots to come and some good topics to cover. Grab the RSS feed or sign up for email updates from the blog so you don't miss a video.

Yesterday's video touches on a topic that comes up a lot around here so I thought I'd share it with you all...

Thanks for watching!

Thanks Aaron!

Quick question. Say you sell health, life, property and casualty.
Are you better off having 3 or 4 separate sites or just combining them into 1?

aaron,
again, kuddos on another good video. agents sometimes have to walk a fine line between pleasing potential customers and pleasing google. but the perspective should always be from the customer's POV. the best search engine ranking won't matter if your potential customers are not buying.

btw, you have asked for feedback regarding topic ideas.... I'd like to see you break down certain aspects of websites and perhaps give some insight on each.
for example: domain trust, agency info, content, quote forms, blogs, etc.

My thought on this is to go with what makes the most sense to your prospects. It's going to be different depending on your book and your market. If you think people looking for health are going to get confused or sidetracked by a bunch of life and P&C info, keep'm separate, but if grouping them together helps tell the story of how you help them, put them all on one site.

Thanks! Good suggestions. There's a lot there so it might take me a while to get through them, but I'll make sure I touch on these topics in upcoming videos.
