Top 3 FMO's

Don't forget Thad Sipple, I hear he is pretty cool to have drinks with. This thread is funny, you all make it seem that "there is no one else" I personally know many agents who have never heard of these "FMO's" and they do just fine. It's a big scary insurance world out there. With one mentioned you have to have ALL your contracts with them or your on your own, with another you get awesome training from a guy who is just a great guy of said FMO and the other basically offers contracts like everyone else. They all basically do the same when it comes to leads.

I dunno maybe I am an ***, but I have different IMO's that I talk too maybe once a year. Your an Independent insurance agent act like and pull yourself up by the bootstraps, work harder than the next guy and negotiate the highest contracts you can. FMO's, IMO' an in between are just a middle man, once you got this, then go do it. But once you got this you better have the highest possible contract available otherwise said IMO or FMO is making money off your hard work for not much work on there part.

Botton line, unless you are brand spanking new, an IMO or an FMO are just standing between you and a high contract. If you are brand new or failing then bend over get raped a bit, learn the business and then negotiate with the ones who raped you, cuz they put the time and money into you and you owe it too them. Unfortunetly this business is about screwing someone who helped you, outta 5% override. Get used to it.

Anyone who has been in the business for 5 years or more is able to pick up what I am trying to put down.

:) Of course I am generalizing.

Dang dude. No need to get ill. The op asked for opinions and that's what the folks are giving him.

I have my contact spread around and I do as much as I want. The guy I have the most contracts with is not a member here. I have contracts with several guys here. Good guys but I would never put all or most with any of them. On the FU side I have the luxury of being able to have multiple numbers with most of the companies. FE companies do not do that. I have to guess that is IMO driven.

I can say that Thad Sipple has been very nice to work with. He has offered to get me trained and said I can call him anytime I have a question.

Somehow he has managed to a answer his phone every time Ive called and he shared some good presentation tips with me even though he doesn't have my contracts yet.

Thanks Thad!!!

Richard
