Trans FE Question...

If they use a wheel chair for recovery from hip, knee replacement, and you check yes to the question and tell Trans on the supplemental form it was used for a short period of time (temporarily) is it still a problem ?

Never tested it.

Haven't you heard? Word on the street is Trans will be the next FE carrier leaving the arena. Don't know how accurate this is, but you guys are pointing out some signals this is true.
Their immediate coverage with COPD is another signal. How can they make a profit on this block of business having immediate coverage when most other carriers can not? Duh?

Most FE products are Table 4. Except for Senior Life's standard, seems to be Like table 10-11.

Standard level products like Trans Std, LBL Std and Americo UP2 for example are Table 8.

I'm assuming from your guy's standard pricing being so high that it should take insulin, neuropathy and copd Level right?

Actually, I never knew COPD was a serious condition until I started selling life insurance. I still don't understand exactly how it shortens someone's life but it must be brutal for the way carriers look at it.

It's a very common cause of death.

Yes. At least that was their stance when they changed their app to the current app. But thats been quite a few years now.

Quite a few companies take COPD standard. Americo, Transaamerica, KSKJ, Liberty Bankers off the top of my head. And it's not new. Been that way for many years.

Yes except COPD.
If this person who was using a wheel chair for 3 months during recovery, and now doesnt use the wheel chair, they could qualify for super preferred, as long as no tobacco, ht/wt is ok, and no more than one med per condition, and no terminal illnesses.

Lack of oxygen can affect every organ in the body. It is particularly hard on the heart and vascular systems. It can even affect the skeletal system and the nervous system. It cannot be cured or even reversed. There is no good news for those who suffer from COPD.

Even worse it make it tougher to maintain an erection and severely limits the ability to perform.
