Trump officials plan maintenance downtime for healthcare.gov during ObamaCare sign-ups

Healthcare.gov is scheduled to be offline for maintenance from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. each Sunday during the sign-up period, except for the final Sunday, for a total of 60 hours of downtime.

Officials said that is the maximum possible downtime, and said last year the actual downtime was significantly less than what was scheduled, at 21.5 hours out of a scheduled 60.

The Direct Enrollment Agent/Broker pathway has been taken off-line, due to hackers. Hope it's not too bad, or our web-broker pathway may not be available when Open Enrollment starts.

Per CMS/Healthcare.gov E-mail dtd 10/17/2018:
"Agents and Brokers: Please be advised that the Direct Enrollment (DE) Agent/Broker pathway is currently disabled in the production environment as a precaution after discovering anomalous activity. We will send a follow up message when we have additional details. The DE Classic consumer pathways, including HealthCare.gov and the Call Center, remains available. Questions should be directed to the Marketplace Service Desk (MSD) at [email protected]."
