How much do you spend weekly on FE leads?

Do you buy leads every week religiously or do you have a certain schedule you follow, or do you throw all caution to the wind and wing it, buying some here and some there.

Do you see a direct correlation between the amount and consistency of leads you buy and your sales volume and sales consistency?

If you don't mind how much FE premium do you sell yearly?

On average what is your per lead cost?

What do you think a fair contract for a fair lead price is?

Hope the questions make sense, I am mostly asking so a new agent can see you have to pay to play with big boys.

If I answered those questions you wouldn't believe it so I will refrain.

But, an agent has to have a steady supply of leads to make a consistant income.

I get leads every week without fail. There is quite a bit of disagreement on how to get leads but there is no disagreement that you need them.

You can self generate leads, cold calling, cold doorknocking, referrals, etc. You can buy lists and call or doorknock them. You can partner with a lead IMO and buy leads. You can do your own mail. You can buy teleleads.

Some will claim that if you self generate then you are not paying for leads but in reality those are the most expensive leads out there because of the value of your time.

A new agent on a lead program that has to pay in the $20-25 range for leads should start at least at 85% contracts with the opportunity to move up in commissions with production.

If not buying leads thru an IMO then an agent should be in the 110% range on most contracts.

Thank you for your input. Good stuff.

The main reason I want the real numbers, is so a new agent can understand what it really takes to be successful.

Do not get sucked in to another persons style. The amount you need someone depends on how you work. Door knock or call for appt. Ect. I will be happy to share my thoughts with you
