TX Moving to FL-License Questions

Hey Guys,

I have Texas P & C license for more than a year. I am moving to FL in a month or two. Does anybody know what's the best way to get a FL license as a resident and keep the Texas license as a non-resident?

What's the procedure and how long would it take?

I really have not much of an idea. But I think the answer from a proceduce standpoing will differ on if you currently have a non resident FL licese already?

I only have Texas license.
The NAIC replied I need to contact FL department to figure out the procedure and I did. I might update it here once I go through the procedures.
