That's not what he said earlier.

I was in the car while the speech was going on. Thought I was going to stroke out. He is so totally clueless I had to turn off the radio.

Almost 3 yrs in office and still has no idea what he is doing. You would think he would learn something in that time but just as out of touch now as before.

I also listened to what seems to be his daily speech today (I wish I could say pep talk, but that's not like our current leader), and along the same lines, he had a comment of something like: "those executive fat cats flying their corporate jets can afford a tax increase". He doesn't get how an economy works. Last time I checked, we want businesses/fat cats to spend the hoards of cash they have, to buy corporate jets and the like, that employ people at gulfstream and others, who buy parts from suppliers, who also employ people, who then get paid, and spend the money again and again. He's the supreme demotivator........I too almost had a stroke. Oh yeah, the health care law stinks too (just to make this post legit)

Back during Bush 1 (read my lips, no new taxes) Congress imposed a wealth tax on yachts.

It killed the boat industry in FL and has never returned.

Don't forget his famous Las Vegas speech either. Oh yeah, and how as a Senator running for Prez he said he was going to eliminate Medicare Advantage because "it isn't making Seniors any healthier". Last time I looked they were still here.
