UCT's Dental, Vision, Hearing Plan, Any Good?

@mustfastpitch - I understand your concern. Other's, just on this thread, have received the full info with online contracting and am sure can vouch for this program. I apologize for being vague, but I like to do business in a professional manner not with a [email protected] email address, no name, no agency name, etc.. Good luck with all of your future endeavors.

That is my disposable spam email that I use when dealing with someone I don't know and who just joined this forum in the last couple days. I guess it would be "unprofessional" to give out secret info without full name, agency name and contact info. And too secret to post out in the open like on this forum. I think you might want to keep it from being dissected in the open. I noticed you don't have it on your web site, or an office address. So secretive.

I get enough spam so I don't to go out looking for more. When you have nothing to hide, spread the word out in the open. Until then, good luck to you.

I have been promoting a dental insurance program that really is the best thing that I have seen in all of my years selling dental insurance.

yea....thats the problem....first of all most all the agents on this site know about every dental deal out there....who ever they are signed up under and don't think dental insurance is a wash....second....

@STIBROKER - point taken. Thank you for the clarification.

I do not believe in assigned commissions. I would highly recommend any agent not to go that route.

With this plan, commissions are paid directly from the company.

This was your response to the assignment question when I asked via email:
you will be directly contracted with TeamCorp, paid by TeamCorp, and able to enroll online through your own personalized TeamCorp website

Isn't that a marketing organization? If they are paying the commissions, how are they not assigned?

Hello Tins,

My definition of assigned commissions is having an insurance company pay a third party commissions than that third party will pay agents.

That is not the case with Teamcorp and this Ameritas program. Ameritas does not pay Teamcorp. TeamCorp is the administrator and developer of this program. This program is only made available through TeamCorp and they pay agents directly.

It really is a great program for your clients and a good revenue source for your agency.

I'll be more than happy to answer any other questions or get you in touch with the proper contacts at TeamCorp to answer your questions directly.

Hello Mustfastpitch,

I am new to this forum so please just bear with me. I am guessing there are a lot of spammers on this forum?

I can send you any info or give you any info you like. It doesn't have anything to do with "secrets". There really aren't any secrets in the insurance industry these days. I just thought it was common courtesy to at least have a name as I make my name, company, website, etc. public.

Please let me know how I can help. I will send you the info now.

The HIC Group, Welcome to the forum, BTW.

What caught my eye was you saying there is no waiting period for major services but you have it wrong. From what I am seeing there is a 12 month waiting period. Didn't think it was possible and it isn't. ha. Anytime someone is not open and honest with the details you know they are hiding something. You can post the details about a plan you think it good but if you just put out a teaser and say email me for more info you are not trying to inform the rest of us you are trolling for business and they consider that spam. So if I have it wrong, correct me and give us the details without requiring we contract through you for them. This is what I found.

Ameritas Group Dental Benefits
You receive the following benefits: $50 Deductible for Type 1 Preventive Services, $100 deductible for Type 2 Basic and Major Services,

No more than 3 deductibles per calendar year
Maximum Benefit $2,500 annually Per Family Member
Benefits Are Paid Based On Schedule of Eligible Expenses
No waiting period on preventive and basic services
Choose any dentist nationwide or select from one of nearly 65,000 provider access locations.
There is a 12 month Waiting Period for Major Services
Dental Rewards - Rewards insureds that care for their teeth and use only a portion of their annual maximum benefit in a year. With its increasing maximum feature, each insured member and dependent earns additional money toward his or her next year's annual maximum.

To get the maximum carryover for the next year, you must meet the following requirements:
1) Visit your Dentist between Jan. 1st and Dec. 31st.
2) Submit claim for payment prior to April 1st of the next year.
3) Total benefits paid for current year visits must be less than $500.

If you meet all 3 requirements you will have an additional $250 available in Annual Maximum for the next year.
As long as you continue to visit the Dentist each year the $250 will be available.
In future years if you have benefits paid of less than $500, additional amounts of $250 will be added to the carryover. However, the most you can accumulate in the maximum carryover is $3,500.
Your annual maximum will be $3,500 in four years if you continue to visit the dentist once each year!

Mustfastpitch.

You are looking at the low option - Dental Access Plan. Please review the high option - Dental Care Plan. There is coverage for type 1,2,3 and 4 services immediately for the dental care plan.

I do not provide teasers to get responses. I am trying to provide info and be positive on this forum. It seems to me that you are focusing your energy to prove people wrong and see the negative side of things.

If you focus your energy on positive things, you will get positive results.

I will answer any other questions you may have, but please do the research first.

Thanks

Nice. I welcome you to the forum and tried to explain why you getting accused of spamming the forum and you attack me. And you still try not to let the facts out.

I found it. Yep, no waiting period on major services, technically speaking. It only pays 10% on Endodontics, All Periodontics, Major Restorative and Anesthesia the first year and 40% the second year after you file a claim at the 10% level. If you file a claim at the 10% level, do nothing the next year and then file again the third year you are back at the 10% level.

You draw attention to the negatives when you try to hide them. I would just spill all the beans and if someone is interested great. If not you saved yourself some trouble working with them only to have them bail when the get the info. Either way you can't solicit business on the forum except in the offers section and you need to meet a certain level, number of posts or something to post there. Good luck.

If anyone is interested in details:
