Unusual wording in agency contracts. I Need Advice

You're probably better off signing this crappy contract than one drafted by an attorney... as John mentioned, you can only be sued for actual damages. Plus, how do they expect to collect on a $250,000 judgment anyway?

Two agencies sent me contracts for the same company. One included a lengthy and very legalese contract for them. The other agency sent me just the carrier's contract.

A contract written like this one makes me unsure of the agency.

There must be other agencies across the country that offer the same service without a rediculous contract.

You can buy internet leads and make your own appts. This way you save a lot of travelling. Just go to the buyers.

They can't come after you for that kind of money. I use to work for a top MA company and I tried to contact there top agent when I left and they told me section 10 of some handbook doesn't allow that. There wasn't any fine just a understandment. Don't sign the contract.
