UPDATE for Those Who Donated to the Homeless

I just wanted to give a quick update on the homeless guys here in Waynesboro that some of you on the forum pitched in and helped.

I found out today that the 29.5 inches of snow that we had here around Christmas time destroyed the tent poles to the new tents that were purchased for them.

The good news is that one of the guys, the one who I figured would have the least chance to make it, has cleaned himself up, cut his hair, and has actually found a part-time job. He has also found an apartment and is living on his own. He had on new boots and clothes that were apparantly Christmas gifts. he looked really nice and appeared to be in really great spirits.

Thanks for the update. I hope all people will never lose their home. I have a few relatives who almost lost their houses because of some flood. Hope they can survive and be more flexible in this life's trial.
