US Leads

It's very easy to dispute with PayPal.

Getting a merchant account is easy, but so is losing a dispute if you don't have a tangible product. You have to actually take legal action to recover a check.

Selling telemarketed leads is a sucker's bet to begin with.

So if it is easy to get a merchant account, but they don't have one, what does that tell you? ;)

Here is my issue with the paypal dispute. Paypal is billing my debit card for a third party. I have protections for electronic transactions from my checking account including debit card transactions it is called Reg E. To file a merchant dispute through my bank, the bank requires me to at least attempt resolution through the merchant first (reasonable) the problem is the merchant I am dealing with is let's say you Josh but for the Reg E dispute I have to work through paypal which means their dispute system. I have worked at a bank and seen many times customers call in they have gone through the paypal dispute and finally paypal denies it and says take it up with your bank. The issue is it is now 60 days from the date of the bank statement they are no longer covered by Reg E.

I have been selling FE since October 2013 and I am looking for a good source of leads as we all are. I want to know if anyone has had any dealings with US Leads. I saw one post that was not very favorable but I don't want to discount them off just one post. Anyone else had any experience with these guys?
Bad news from me as well. I have a friend who actually had his first 5 "appointments" with them just today. First one was a no show (it happens). ALL of the other 4 were adamant that they did not make any appointment.

US Leads is definitely a scam. I tried them and My first one was a no show, and everyone thereafter had the same story. The day before they had received a call from someone they believed to be in another country that they couldn't really understand. some of them thought they had agreed to receive a package of information for something but in every case they all said they definitely did not agree to an appointment.

I wasted an entire day. When I contacted them they apologized and said they would review that calls. that is the last I heard. The following day I got an e-mail saying they apologize that they cannot get me any additional for that day but would get them to me at a later date. well see.

This is most definitely without a question a scam. they represent themselves as a Texas based telemarketing company and even show pictures of what appear to be Americans sitting in a room making calls but what they really do is farm out the calling to India, take your money and run.

update. I got my second batch about an hour after I was supposed to be at the first appointment... what a joke.

every other contact I made was the same, they did not make an appointment but remembered so strange unintelligible call from the day before.

Adding insult to injury, the information wasn't even correct either ages and other info wasn't right. one lady was 90 for crying out loud. and the responses i'm getting back are getting less and less. they are pretty much ignoring me
